I believe that yoga is for everybody and that you don’t have to be able to touch your toes or be in super great shape to practice it. In this short 4 week series, I will explain a variety of techniques to help accommodate oneself into the world of yoga. This includes how to sit comfortably, how to use props, why we use the yoga mat, going over the basic poses you can experience in a yoga class, and using breathing practices, known as Pranayama. I will also introduce variations of the poses so everyone can feel comfortable during the class.
