This is the time to go inward, to rediscover your intuition, and to nurture yourself. This wonderful darker time allows us to prepare for the expansion and growth that comes in the Spring.
In this special edition class, we will focus on quieting poses and deep stretches to maintain your physical and mental flexibility. There will be a special ceremony to celebrate Winter Solstice and increase of light in upcoming days.
Ayurvedic cookies and hot tea will be served after class.
The word Solstice translates into "Sun stands still." The darkest day of the year, Winter Solstice has been celebrated since ancient times.
The masculine force of the sun must be balanced by the feminine nature of the moon. In winter we see so much more of the moon - making winter a strong feminine season.

Green Juice Yoga Wednesdays at 9:15am
Join Amrita every Wednesdays at 9:15am for a gentle yoga practice to energize, improve circulation, to stretch and to breathe deeply.
Amrita will make the Hawaiian Green Juice after the class to awaken the senses and nourish the body. This recipe comes from Chopra Center. Very healthy and very delicious!

Heart rate normalizes, stress hormones subside, the body starts to release the tension, our mind calms down.

Solstice Ceremony with Linda Ferguson

Join us for the Winter Solstice. At this time of Darkness we come together to connect to quiet of Winter and the Light Within.
The Solstice ceremony will include inner reflection, sharing, and a fire ceremony.

Where is your attention in Life today..? Are you taking the time for Self Care? We want Vitality and we want to age in the most radiant way, this is our full time job, weather you are retired or still enjoying work.
This morning practice will focus on energizing the body using breathing practices - pranayama, improving circulation with movement, improving digestion with specific yoga postures. This class is designed for people who actively seek to bring wellbeing and improved health into their lives.
Soul Flow with Shankari
Thursdays, 10:15 - 11:30am
Soul Flow incorporates Hatha Yoga principles and asana, while infusing Vinyasa Flow movements and breathe work. Each class will incorporate 7 sequences including centering, sun salutations, back bends, forward bends, twists, deep relaxation and meditation/pranayama. Along with the movements, positive affirmations, and soul wisdom will be shared, to enhance the student’s ability to manifest, and cultivate change in their life. This form of fun, love and power allows the yogi to create a deep connection with their true roots and soul center!
