Yoga for Stress Relief and Anxiety

Tuesdays, 6 - 7:15pm

Are you experiencing high levels of stress in your everyday life?
Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed?
Or you're struggling with depression?
Stress is abundant, and seems to be on the rise.
What I love about practicing Yoga is the transformation it brings. Yoga works on many levels, as we are multidimensional Human Beings.
The nervous system is one of the levels we can actively benefit, switching our bodies out of sympathetic (Fight and Flight) response to parasympathetic (Rest and Restore) response. Ahhh!
In yoga practice, through the sequencing of tense and rest/release, we can train our bodies to shift more easily from stress to being at ease in our every day life.

Meditation class - free! Tuesdays,

10:45 - 11:15am 

Meditation is easy. If you can think and breathe, you can meditate!
 Heart rate normalizes, stress hormones subside, the body starts to release the tension, our mind calms down.

6 Week Kundalini Yoga Beginner Series

Thursdays, February 21st - April 2nd, 2019

Explore the yoga of awareness and discover your best self. Over the course of four weeks learn the basic techniques for unlocking your vitality.Yogi Bhajan taught us how to release the fatigue from the body so the energy available can flow and uplift us. You have everything you need within you.

We will study the basics of Kundalini yoga and Meditation using kriyas (sets of exercises and postures), mantra, breathing, and meditations to provide you a good set of basic tools for use in your daily life. Kundalini Yoga, the yoga of awareness, uses a series of postures, breath and sound to help you gain a strong immune system, vital glands, strong nervous system and good circulation.

No yoga experience is required for this series and those already practicing Kundalini Yoga will have an opportunity to review techniques and enhance their current practice.

Yoga for Vitality and Healthy, Radiant Aging

Saturdays,  9:15 - 10:30am

Where is your attention in Life today..?  Are you taking the time for Self Care?  We want Vitality and we want to age in the most radiant way, this is our full time job, weather you are retired or still enjoying work.
This morning practice will focus on energizing the body using breathing practices - pranayama, improving circulation with movement, improving digestion with specific yoga postures.  This class is designed for people who actively seek to bring wellbeing and improved health into their lives.                                                         Sign up here!

Soul Flow with Shankari 

Thursdays, 10:15 - 11:30am

Soul Flow incorporates Hatha Yoga principles and asana, while infusing Vinyasa Flow movements and breathe work. Each class will incorporate 7 sequences including centering, sun salutations, back bends, forward bends, twists, deep relaxation and meditation/pranayama. Along with the movements, positive affirmations, and soul wisdom will be shared, to enhance the student’s ability to manifest, and cultivate change in their life. This form of fun, love and power allows the yogi to create a deep connection with their true roots and soul center!
